Effective July 13, 2026
Paqid is a privacy-first budgeting tool operated by Andy Hatfield ("we," "us"). You can reach us any time at support@paqid.app.
We use a small number of strictly-functional cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one to remember whether you prefer the mobile or desktop layout. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
To provide the service — sign you in, store and display your budget, send you a password-reset email if you request one, and keep the app secure and working. That's it. We do not use your financial information to market to you.
Paqid is hosted on Railway (in the United States). Encrypted backups of the database are stored with Cloudflare R2. If you use the password-reset feature, the reset email is delivered through a transactional email provider. These providers process data only to host the service on our behalf.
We keep your information for as long as you have an account. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing support@paqid.app; deleting an account permanently removes its budgets and transactions.
We protect your data with industry-standard measures — passwords hashed with PBKDF2, encryption in transit (HTTPS), per-user data isolation, and off-site encrypted backups. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.
Paqid is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above will change when we do.
